Which AI writing and images does it check?
The free AI detector looks for the patterns of text written by large language models such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude, and for the traces image generators such as Midjourney, DALL·E, Stable Diffusion and Flux leave in pictures. You get an AI probability, a human probability and the passages or signals behind the score.
No detector catches everything. Heavily edited AI text, very short texts and some photorealistic images are harder. We publish our own test results, including the weak spots, on the accuracy page.
AI detector vs plagiarism checker
An AI detector asks who or what wrote this: a person or an AI model. A plagiarism checker asks was this copied from another source. A text can be fully original and still AI-written, or written by a person and copied.
